Helping Oregon Residents Achieve Housing Stability
Welcome to You Enhanced
A Message from Kevin Kosik, Founder
You reached out. You said “I need help.”
You made the right choice.
Long before the concept of HRSN existed, I was doing this work—when we didn’t even know what to call it. Now, more than twenty years later, it has come to fruition. What started as one person helping another find housing has become a proven model for trauma-informed, high-acuity tenancy support.
I have walked alongside people through their darkest moments—when housing felt impossible, when the system felt overwhelming, when hope was hard to find. I have sat in hospital rooms and jail cells. I have helped move belongings into first apartments after years of homelessness. I have celebrated lease signings and one-year anniversaries in stable housing.
Here is what I have learned: You are not your diagnosis. You are not your trauma. You are not the worst thing that ever happened to you.
You are someone who deserves to be heard, respected, and supported—without judgment, without conditions, without having to perform “wellness” to earn basic dignity.
🔨 What Makes You Enhanced Different
Other providers make you call four different offices. One for housing questions. One for billing. One for authorizations. One for crisis support. You leave four voicemails and get zero answers while you are facing an eviction notice.
At You Enhanced? One call. Complete answers. No transfers.
When you call us at 9 PM because you are scared about an eviction, we do not say “that is not my department.” We know your story. We know your landlord. We know when your rent is posting and what your authorization covers. You call us, we handle it—period.
Because when you are in crisis, the last thing you need is a phone tree. You need someone who knows you, believes in you, and can solve the problem right now.
We are everything you need. So who else would you have to call?
What We Promise You
- Trauma-Informed Care — We understand that systems have let you down before. We will not add to that harm. We meet you where you are, without judgment.
- Cultural Humility — Many of the people we serve are Native American, and we honor the wisdom, resilience, and sovereignty of Indigenous communities. We do not impose solutions—we listen and learn.
- Real Partnership — This is your journey. We walk beside you, not ahead of you. You make the decisions. We provide the support.
- High-Acuity Specialization — If you are dealing with serious mental health challenges, substance use, chronic homelessness, or past incarceration, you are exactly who we are here for. We do not turn away the “difficult” cases—we specialize in them.
- Long-Term Commitment — We have a 90% retention rate because we do not give up on people. If you are willing to keep trying, we are staying in it with you—for as long as it takes.
- One Team, Total Support — You get one phone number, one team, and complete answers. No transfers. No runaround. No “let me check with someone else.” We handle it all.
You are not alone anymore.
Whether this is your first step toward housing or you are trying again after setbacks, we are here. We believe in you. We have seen people not just survive, but thrive—and we know you can too.
Let us do this together.
